Designed by neurologists for neurologists, REACH 1.0 established the gold standard for integrating information over the web to complete a remote stroke consult. REACH 1.0 proved its mettle in Georgia, in the heart of the U.S. “Stroke Belt,” enabling stroke specialists at the Medical College of Georgia to provide stroke care to patients visiting rural hospital ERs.
REACH 2.0 took telestroke technology to a higher level, adding features such as consult notes and reporting, to enable complete documentation and analysis of consults. REACH 2.0 also replicated the hub-spoke model in numerous states, helping the REACH network grow exponentially.
Our customers have requested that we adapt the REACH interface for use in new ways so that they can grow their relationships with REACH network partner hospitals.
We listened.
With the launch of REACH 3.0, REACH Call introduces a next-generation architecture that supports rapid development of web-based consults for new clinical applications. As with prior versions of REACH, the design provides all the information for completing a consult within a single web-accessible interface; only now, the information would pertain to other consults such as general neurology, severe head trauma, burn treatment and psychiatry.
REACH 3.0 also takes reporting capabilities to a new level for both physicians and administrators.
- Physicians can further streamline their consult experience with SOAP layouts that simplify data entry and note entry during the consult. In emergency situations, faster consults can yield more favorable outcomes for patients.
- Administrators can leverage data capture capabilities with access to numerous customizable graphical reports about consults, patient treatment times, recommendations and decisions. These reports deliver more insight into a referral network’s performance, providing benchmarks and informing policy adjustments as needed.
Beyond 3.0, REACH Call will continue to innovate upon its industry-leading technology and its network building expertise to bring healthcare professionals together to make critical decisions that improve patient outcomes and institutional strength.
